For the living room of actress Ellen Pompeo's Hollywood villa, Martyn Lawrence Bullard dressed a custom-made sofa with pillows covered in Indian cotton throws. The Afghan wool dhurrie is from the 1930s, and the candelabra is by Picasso.

In an 1836 Manhattan townhouse, Miles Redd lined the master bedroom with Farrow & Ball wallpaper. The pelmet and curtains are custom made, and the headboard upholstery and canopy are of a Scalamandré silk.
